Raised Face (RF)
A raised-face flange has a raised sealing surface above the main flange face. It is widely used with suitable spiral-wound, non-metallic and other compatible gaskets depending on the piping specification.
Forged slip-on flanges designed for installation over the pipe and welding to form a flanged piping connection. Available in carbon steel, low-temperature carbon steel and stainless steel in accordance with applicable flange standards and project requirements.
A slip-on flange is a flanged pipe connection component that fits over the outside diameter of the pipe. The flange is positioned over the pipe and welded to form the connection.
Slip-on flanges are commonly selected for general industrial and process piping applications where their installation arrangement and pressure-temperature rating are suitable for the service.
Rhevon can source slip-on flanges in different nominal sizes, pressure classes, facing configurations and material grades according to project requirements.
Supplied according to required NPS, pressure class, material, facing and applicable flange standard.
Slip-on flange selection is based on pressure class, nominal size, facing configuration, bore and material.
A raised-face flange has a raised sealing surface above the main flange face. It is widely used with suitable spiral-wound, non-metallic and other compatible gaskets depending on the piping specification.
A flat-face flange has a flat gasket seating surface across the flange face. It is selected where required by the piping design, mating equipment or project specification.
Slip-on flanges can be supplied in different ASME pressure classes. The applicable class must be selected according to the piping class and pressure-temperature requirements.
Flange material should be selected to suit the piping material, operating conditions, process media and applicable project specification.

B2 is the reference slip-on bore.
Y2 excludes the approximately 1.6 mm raised face. Confirm hub pattern, bore and tolerances on the supplier drawing.
Flange requirements can be reviewed against the applicable material specification, dimensional standard, pressure class, facing and purchase order requirements before supply.
Common questions about slip-on flange specifications, pressure classes, facing, materials and applications.
A slip-on flange is installed over the outside of the pipe and welded to form the flanged connection. It is commonly used in industrial piping applications where its pressure-temperature rating and installation arrangement are suitable.
Slip-on flanges can be supplied in different ASME pressure classes. Rhevon's core offering can include Class 150 and Class 300, with other classes available according to project requirements and sourcing availability.
RF refers to a raised-face flange, where the gasket seating surface is raised above the main flange face. FF refers to a flat-face flange with a flat gasket seating surface. The required facing should match the piping specification and mating component.
Provide the NPS, pressure class, facing type, material grade, quantity and applicable flange standard. Pipe schedule or bore requirements should also be specified where required by the project.
Yes. Slip-on flanges can be included in a mixed piping requirement together with compatible gaskets, studs, nuts, washers and other piping components. This allows the complete flange-joint requirement to be sourced together.
Share the NPS, pressure class, facing, material, quantity and applicable specification. Mixed piping component requirements are also welcome.
